David Reuss is a proud New York City native, born and raised on Staten Island and currently residing in Manhattan.

David started working on staff as an illustrator at Lowe, a large advertising agency. Eventually he came to manage the illustration department where he hired and managed illustrators to create storyboards and comps for pitches and presentations. In 2004 he left Lowe and began freelancing for Famous Frames and has been working with them ever since. He has a specialty in shooting boards and is well skilled in executing tight full color work as well. 

David is an Executive member of the Society of Illustrators, serving as Membership Chairman, Special Events Chairman and Treasurer.

David is also an award winning member of the arts organization, the Salmagundi Club where he serves as the Education Chairman. Previously he’s held office as Third Vice President, Chairman of the Public Relations Committee and Co-chair of the Junior/Scholarship Committee and the Treasurer. David has also taken the helm of the Saturday morning class where he teaches painting and drawing. 

David holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts and earned his Masters Degree in Arts and Cultural Management at Pratt Institute.
